The Asia Pacific Advertising Festival (AdFest) is inviting agencies and production houses in Asia Pacific as well as the Middle East (for the first time) to enter for the Lotus Awards. This is one of the major shows for creative in the region and a medal for this show can help newcomers as well as established professionals boost their careers or business.
There is no doubt digital is creating new problems as well as opportunities for organisers of such shows. The newly formed AdFest Collective (see earlier reports in AdAsia) has made several improvements to the show especially in this area. Cyber Lotus has been split up and 360 Lotus have been split further and there is now Interactive Lotus and Integrated Lotus. These include new categories such as Creative Effectiveness Lotus and Mobile Lotus.
