AdFest has announced that nine of the CUP trophies at the 5th Intercontinental Advertising CUP went to agencies in the Asia Pacific region. There were 397 entries from four regional festivals – the Art Directors Club of Europe, AdFest, FIAP and Golden Drum.

The winners from the AdFest group were DDB Group, Melbourne; Dentsu Inc,Tokyo; Cheil Worldwide, Seoul; Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo; Taiyo Kikaku & Rhizomatiks, Japan; and Masashi Kawamura/Qanta Shimizu/Saqoosha/Hiroki Ono, Tokyo, Japan.

The Grand CUP winner was Spanish agency Germinal Cominicacion for a campaign for Doctors Without Border called ‘Pills against the others pain campaign’.
