The Institute of Advertising Singapore deserted the usual Shangri-La Hotel ballroom for the 2011 annual Hall of Fame Awards on 29th November. This year, the Marina Bay Sands convention centre was the chosen venue.

The Institute of Advertising Singapore recently organised for the second time the APPIES, the Asia Pacific Marketing Congress. This event was the brain child of Patrick Mowe, the recently retired Executive Director of IAS.

Now in its 5th year, the Asian Publishing Convention attracted 248 high-level delegates from seventeen countries for this two-day event in the Landmark Hotel in Bangkok.

The 4th interactive advertising and digital marketing exhibition and conference returned once again to Singapore. The show will open in Tokyo in October 2011 and New Delhi in February 2012.

The annual effectiveness awards for the Singapore market were presented on 31st May at the Shangri-La Ballroom.
