According to Paul Beckley the company looked at the business as a whole and the macro-environment for this industry no longer supports growth in South East Asia.

The closure means that next year’s iMedia and ad:tech will no longer take place. For now it seems that the editions in Japan, India and Australia are unaffected. The faith of ad:tech Shanghai is to be decided on Monday 27 August 2015.
