The Bachelor of Design (Multimedia Design)
Students will work on projects based on real life briefs and are assessed accordingly, so that they develop the technical and problem-solving skills needed to be effective designers. Billy Blue’s Multimedia Design program develops skills in communication design for digital media including, audio and video specialisation, 3D modelling, typography, programming/scripting for the web, animation, film and television post production and computer interactive mediums. The Communication Design program aims to produce imaginative designers who work creatively in areas where information is primarily conveyed by visual means such as advertising, publishing, publicity, printing, merchandising, digital design, education and research.

Bachelor of Visual Arts (Graphic Design)
The Visual Arts Programme combines advanced drawing skills, the academic study of visual culture and communication, technological ability, expertise and understanding and the application of an enhanced aesthetic to prepare the graduate to participate fully in the graphic design industry. Students can opt to follow one of three streams - Graphic Design, Photoprint-media, or 2D/3D. The Graphic Design stream is a print and publishing based course. Studio practice includes, advertising, design studio, illustration, editorial and marketing. The Photoprint-media stream includes studies in photography, photojournalism, multimedia and printmaking, and the 2D/3D stream includes studies in Painting Drawing and Ceramics.
