The chamber at Old Parliament House where the Fairly Legal is screened.
Sarah Shahi as Kate Reed

Journalists and other guests, many from the legal profession, were invited to the Old Parliament House in Singapore to attend mock legal proceedings complete with judge and bailiff. It was a unique way for Universal Networks International, with the help of Strategic Public Relations Group agency, to launch a new comedy series titled ‘Fairly Legal’ on the Diva Universal channel starting 5th May. The series revolves around Kate Reed who is a mediator in a San Francisco law firm where her boss is her wicked stepmother, her ex-husband still counsels her and she has a one-night stand with the handsome prosecutor. Got the picture?

Having watched a preview, in our opinion, it would be better stick to ‘The Good Wife’ on the same channel than watch this frothy nonsense.

Pre-screening, networking with food and booze.
