The annual Hall of Fame Awards organised by Institute of Advertising Singapore was held on 30th November at Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre. The most awards went to BBH Asia Pacific who won for every campaign they submitted to the show winning four Golds out of the eight campaign and innovation awards handed out. Its ‘Mentos National Night’ work won both ‘Campaign of the Year’ and ‘Digital Campaign of the Year’ awards. DDB Group came next in line but won ‘Advertising Agency of the Year’ for the third consecutive year. MindShare was given the accolade ‘Media Agency of the Year’.
Pann Lim of Kinetic Design & Advertising, a highly regarded creative in Singapore, was given the ‘Creative Director of the Year’ award. The award for ‘Digital Creative Director of the Year’ went to Valerie Cheng of JWT. A well-deserved recognition for her contribution to this area.
Chuck Studios was given the ‘Business Innovation Award’ while the ‘Marketing Innovation Awards’ went to Kirin Beer, Chupa Chups and Courts.
NTUC Income CEO, Tan Suee Chieh, was given the ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’. Under his guidance, the insurance arm of NTUC became a leader in life, health and motor insurance.
The Institute of Advertising Singapore has done a great job in recognising talented and professional people in the advertising industry as well as encouraging good business discipline with the EFFIES and APPIES events.
