Creative agency, Iris, is launching in January a new regional PR arm. This will be headed by Allanjit Singh who has moved from Ogilvy Singapore. Apart from the traditional media relations, the new department will encompass all aspects of social strategy such as community management, social media and digital channel planning.
This move follows a similar expansion in London where the PR division works on Heineken and the English Football Association.
Iris recently announced a global creative alliance with USA media and marketing agency Meredith.
