Omnicom Media chooses Paul
Omnicom Media Group has appointed Jeremy Paul to lead Ignition Factory. This arm services clients within the Omnicom Media Group by helping brands develop storytelling and activation. Paul joins Ignition Factory from McCann Erickson Japan where he headed their Integrated Communications Planning. Prior to this, he was with MediaEdge as Global Strategy Director where he worked on clients such as Star Alliance, Chanel and Barclays Capital.
New Marketing Director for Courts
Giant home furnishing retailer, Courts, has appointed Phuong Dang-Vu Leleu as Regional Director – Marketing. Phuong was previously with the PPR Group, a global organisation that specialises in luxury and lifestyle retail. She also worked for Groupe Casino, a multinational food retailer and spent time in its subsidiary BigC in Thailand. She joined Courts on 16th January 2012.
New GM for InMobi
Mobile advertising network InMobi has appointed Phalgun Raju as the Regional Director and General Manager for Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She joins from Google where she led sales and business development. Prior to this, Raju was with Nokia and McKinsey.
Tan joins McGagh
Singapore boutique communications agency, McGagh Communications, has appointed Raymond Tan as Regional Account Director. Tan has twenty one years industry experience in media, tech communications and public relations. He started his career as a journalist and has held key appointments at Questex Asia, CNET Asia and CMP Business Media. His previous role was account director at TPR, the PR arm of TBWA. Prior to that, he was with Hill & Knowlton Singapore.
Lui becomes MD at XM Asia Pacific
Vince Lui has been promoted to Managing Director at XM Asia Pacific from his previous role as Managing Partner of the consulting unit of XM. He has worked on key XM accounts such as Singapore Tourism Board, EDB, HP, Visa and Nokia.
Prior to joining XM, Lui worked at Ion Global as Senior Associate, Technology.
Xu promoted in PHD China
PHD China has promoted Cindy Xu to the role of General Manager in the Beijing office. She moves up from her earlier position as Business Director where she worked on accounts like HP, Elizabeth Arden, Sony Mobile and Siemens. Xu has been in the business for 15 years and has worked at several media agencies in China, joining PHD in 2009.
Catcha makes Rielly COO
Catcha Media Berhad in Malaysia has appointed Damon Rielly as Chief Operating Officer. He was previously General Manager of the company’s online business, which operates all of Microsoft Advertising online properties. Prior to this, Rielly was Head of Media Sales & Operations at REA Group based in Australia.
InMobi appoints Marketing Director AP
InMobi, the mobile advertising network, has appointed Anita Swan as Regional Marketing Director, Asia Pacific. Swan was previously Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific for Alcatel-Lucent. Prior to that, she was with telecommunications providers such as Vodafone, Digicel, Telstra and Telecom NZ.
In her new job, she will be expanding InMobi’s business in Southeast Asia, China, Korea, Australia , New Zealand and India.
