In a global appointment, TBWA Worldwide has been appointed marketing agency for Datsun. Nissan have revived the Datsun brand and it is due to launch in 2014 with the initial focus on India, Russia and Indonesia. TBWA will work with Hakuhodo in Indonesia.


Pizza Hut forms closer ties with Havas Worldwide in Hong Kong. The agency already handles the offline creative and has now been appointed to handle all digital communications. Havas will now manage the Pizza Hut Hong Kong’s Facebook page as well as launching initiatives in social media.


The Secret Little Agency has won the Tiger Airways business after a pitch. The first task will be a rebranding exercise.


PT Astra Honda Motor, one of Indonesia’s leading motorcycle manufacturers and distributors, has appointed Grey Group Indonesia as the creative agency to launch its latest sports bike, Honda CB150R Streetfire. There was a three-way creative pitch last August for the business. The agency is already be rolling out a 60-second television commercial to launch the hot new bike along with print, cinema, radio, OHH and digital campaigns as well as brand activation events.


Lowe Indonesia has won the Garuda Airlines business after a pitch which saw the incumbent, Dentsu, lose the account after ten years. The national airline will work with the new agency right across the board.
