Sapporo – The Universal Language of Things

The 11th annual Crowbar Awards, organised by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Singapore (4As), resulted this year in a resounding victory for LaSalle College of the Arts. It gained a total of 389 points and gained 6 Gold, 11 Silver and 17 Bronze medals in the 2011 competition. Out of this, LaSalle also were rewarded with the ‘Best of Show’ award (‘Sapporo’ created by Sid Lim Xian Hao) and two ‘Best of Category’, the only ones given this year. Nanyang Technological University emerged second with 165 points and Nanyang Academy of Fines Arts with 104 points.

The jury were Thomas Yang, Larry Peh, Jonathan Yuen, Royston Tan and Ivanho Harlim.

There were 1,249 entries this year for the Crowbars, an increase of 25%.
