Sledgehammer Communications has been appointed the official Malaysia representative of Lions Festivals. Sledgehammer Communications will promote the Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia in that country. Sledgehammer Communications has been around for twenty years and publishes Marketing magazine and the Malaysian Advertising Directory. Heading the company is Harmandar Singh (Ham) who is a well-known figure in the advertising community in Malaysia and runs several events himself in the advertising and marketing arena. He said of the new partnership, “I am privileged to drive the mission of elevating Malaysia’s creativity to the global stage. There are no better benchmarks to the global and regional creative barometers than Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia.” Terry Savage, Chairman of the Lions Festival, played tribute to Ham and said that he had been relentless in his pursuit of improving brand communications in Malaysia over the past two decades.

Spikes Asia will take place in Singapore from 23rd to 26th September.
