Ogilvy Public Relations Shanghai office has won, after a five-way pitch, the China PR agency for Harman Consumer Group, an affiliate of Harman International which has brands such as JBL, AKG, Harman Kardon, Infinity, Lexicon and Mark Levinson in its portfolio.
MSL China, part of Publicis Groupe, has won the Atlas Copco industrial group. MSL has had a long association in the B2B area. MSL China will now work with Atlas Copco to increase brand recognition in the China market.
The agency also picked up AstraZeneca for PR work on its blockbuster drug, Nexium, used to alleviate the symptoms of acid reflux disease. The agency is charged to raise awareness of this disease and help patients improve their quality of life.
A third win was Home Credit China, a provider of consumer finance in China. This is a subsidiary of PPF Group, a Central and Eastern European group. MSL China is to handle the reputation management of the company.
Roi Strategy has won retained two important retail accounts. Singapore’s only luxury watch company, Azimuth recently retained the PR and marketing agency for a further term extending its portfolio to 22 other countries where the brand is distributed.

JWT Hong Kong has won the creative business for Samsonite in the entire Asia Pacific region. The agency currently handles Samsonite and their American Tourister brand in Shanghai and India. A new brand campaign will be launched in mid-April
Y&R Philippines has gained Rebisco, a leading snack food company. The agency is to create a new logo and a packaging scheme to unite the wide range of products. They won the business in a three-way pitch.
Futurelab has been appointed to handle 7-Eleven social /digital business in Malaysia.
Rapp Indonesia has won a project for Levi’s Loop Membership programme after a four way pitch which included Ogilvy.
G2 Korea, the brand activation arm of Grey Group Korea has won the global in-store marketing mandate for LG Electronics’ Home Appliances. There was a three-way pitch.
