XM Asia appoints Ng
Award-winning creative Pei Pei Ng has joined XM Asia as Creative Director. Ng spent 12 years with Ogilvy in different roles and has, in her 20 years of experience, also worked at JWT Bangkok, Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, TBWA and JWT Singapore. During that time, she has picked up accolades from Cannes, the One Show, D&AD, Clio, LIA and Spikes and worked on major blue chip accounts such as SIA, UOB, Nike, Nokia and Canon. XM Asia is part of JWT and therefore in the WPP Group.
iris appoint Kapoor
Kavita Kapoor has joined the iris network as Regional Digital Director of Operations. She will be based in the Delhi office. Prior to this move, Kapoor was involved in The London Olympic and Paralympic Games. After training as a software designer, she started her career in Fujitsu and was seconded to a range of media clients which led her to move to Channel 4 Television in London.
Ted joins Dentsu
Dentsu Network Asia has appointed Ted Lim as Chief Creative Officer for Dentsu Asia Pte Ltd. He joins on 1st April 2013 and will be based in the Singapore office. Lim is a well-known creative figure in Singapore and Malaysia. He spent 20 years with Naga DDB, then set up a consultancy called Wanted. Most recently he was with Leo Burnett in Singapore. He has a string of awards to his name garnered over the years. Dick van Motman, Chairman and CEO of Dentsu Network Asia, says the agency has “embarked on an aggressive plan of expansion.”
AETN All Asia Networks promotes key people
AETN All Asia Networks has announced promotions across several departments. Joyce Lim has been promoted to Director, Program Scheduling. Lim has been a key member of the Programming team since 2007. Chris Humphrey has moved up to Director, Production. He joined the network in 2008 and had overseen numerous original series and specials. Lachlan Madsen has been with the network for six years and now is promoted to Head of the On-Air Creative Department. He will help provide creative direction for channel branding and individual campaigns.
AETN is adding two new channels, Lifetime and H2 to its current portfolio.
Digital Arts Network gets GM
Liz Harper has joined the Sydney office of Digital Arts Network (DAN) as General Manager and will also be the Digital Director of WhybinTBWA Group in Sydney, Australia. Harper joins from BBH London where she was Strategic Business Lead for Google, BBH Build and BBH Labs. Prior to her role in BBH, Harper was Content Supervisor at Crispin Porter Bogusky in Boulder, London and Miami. In her new role, Harper will partner with DAN Creative Director, Russ Tucker.
Celestial Tiger appoints Sagoo
Celestial Tiger Entertainment has appointed Rupi Sagoo as Director, Content Sales and Distribution for Japan and Korea. She will be based in the Hong Kong office. She moves from the role of Vice President, Sales Practice Management at HSBC. Prior to this, Sagoo was with Fox International and Viasat Broadcasting.
