The Singapore Museum may seem an unusual setting for an event concerning young students but it did not damp the enthusiasm for Move Media’s Young Talent 2011. Students from Nanyang Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic and La Salle entered creative work under four theme umbrellas. The work was judged by four lecturers, Moove’s creative director, Nelson Low, and the editor of AdAsia, Allein Moore. The best student from each institution was given an award and a prize at a dinner ceremony hosted by Move Media on July 22nd. There was also a prize for the best dressed guest. Allein Moore was the Guest of Honour.

Over and above this, the students were earlier given 60sqm of space on four train stations. Dhoby Ghaut, Harbourfront, Farrer Park and Clarke Quay displayed the work of a number of students.

The winners were:

Winner Michael Timothy
Winner Nora Fong
