The Institute of Advertising Singapore, with a sponsorship from SMRT Media, is starting a competition to find the Creative Director of the Year in Singapore. There are 15 nominations and the decision will be made by an overseas jury. The award will be part of this year's Hall of Fame Awards to be held in Singapore on 19th October.
Patrick Mowe, Honorary Executive Secretary of IAS, feels that the contribution of the advertising creative directors to making Singapore a creative hub has been overlooked. He hopes this competition will help gain them more recognition and help attract more talent to the business.
