Business Week and Interbrand have for the sixth consecutive year published The 100 Top Global Brands. Unlike the Reader's Digest Trusted Brands which is consumer-based, these awards are based on brand values calculated from marketing and financial data only. The results this year show Nokia, which have been declining, regaining its leadership position in the mobile telecom industry. One of the big gainers was Google at 46% while Starbucks had a value increase of 20%.
