The book is written by two women who have extensive experience in public relations in Asia so one can assume the content is on the button. It is also nice to read case studies which are relevant to those of us working in this region.
The sub-title of the book is ‘Communicating Effectively Across Cultures’ and this is where we can draw on the width of their experiences. For the skilled professional, this book may start off with too many basics but there are some useful reminders within its 219 pages. With Toyota fresh in our minds, the chapter Managing Issues and Communications in a Crisis is well worth the read.
