Three major cities will benefit from a series of roadshows to highlight the rebranded digital event, this year to be called ad:tech Asean 2014. The organiser, dmg::events, is bringing the roadshow to Jakarta on 5th May, Kuala Lumpur on 7th May and Bangkok on 9th May. The actual event will be held in Singapore on 8th to 9th July 2014. Since its launch in Singapore a few years back, the show has grown to be one of the strongest digital marketing events in the region, attracting thousands of attendees.

With more than 40% of Internet users coming from Asia Pacific, it makes sense to push the roadshows into these major cities.

“Over the years, we have seen new companies emerged out of ad:tech from these high growth potential markets. With the launch of the roadshow, we aim to better engage industry stakeholders and deliver localised content that matters on the ground,” said Julia Kwan, General Manager SEA, dmg::events. She added that Thailand had 24 million Facebook users over a quarter in 2013 while Malaysia has the fourth highest proportion of ‘digital natives’ in the world. This was an opportunity, she said, for marketers to charge ahead as the digital landscape for 2014 gravitates towards increased mobile penetration, native advertising and data.

For ad:tech Asean 2014, the organisers have promised an impressive line-up of keynote speakers and topics covered include Mobile, Social, Insights & Data, Measurement and Analytics, Video, Content Marketing and many more subjects. Go to www.adtechasean.com to book a place of get more details.
