Grey shoots for Canon
Grey Group has pulled Canon Wu over from Can Create in McCann Erickson Worldwide. She joins Grey as Chief Digital Creative Officer.
Based in Shanghai, Wu will cover Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. Previous work experience includes stints at Ogilvy Taiwan and Shanghai as well as with Bates in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
A creative veteran, Wu has won many creative awards during her long career.
Gfk Philippines appoint new Retail Director
Gfk Philippines has appointed Mary Margaret Co Martinez as the new Retail Director. She moves from The Nielsen Company Philippines where she spent the last nine years. Her role at Nielsen was Associate Director of Retail Services. Martinez previously worked at Unilever Foods, Mead Johnson, Adidas and Jollibee Foods. In her new role at Gfk, Martinez will be responsible for recruiting new retailers and ensuring the co-operation of the existing ones on the retail panel.
Bite adds Director of Digital Strategies
Bite Communications has appointed Timi Siytangco in the newly created role of Director, Digital Strategies. Prior to joining Bite, she was Head of Practice, Digital Strategy at Possible Worldwide working with clients such as Dow Corning and Starwood Hotels Asia-Pacific. Earlier she was with CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive). Siytangco has had 15 years’ experience in digital marketing, online media and Internet start-ups.
Dog Digital appoint new Chairman
Dog Digital which has offices in the UK and now in Singapore, has appointed as Chairman, Barrie Jackson. His career spans roles such as Group Sales and Marketing Director for The Edrington Group, Chairman of Maxxium Worldwide and in Hong Kong as President and CEO of International Beverage Holdings where he managed international teams. Dog Digital was founded in 1996.
