Young creative talent in Singapore came together with the some of the top creative directors in town. Portfolio Night returned to Singapore and many other countries around the world. This event is held on the same night in other capitals. Similar to a speed-dating night, each student or fledgling creative spends a few minutes sitting in front of a creative director showing their work. 20 of Singapore’s senior creative people from the major agencies gave up their time to advise forty-five hopefuls who came to the WPP building in Scotts Road. As everyone knows it is hard for an aspiring creative to gain an interview with these busy CDs and this night was an opportunity not only for the youngsters but for the CD’s to find a “gold nugget”.

JWT, led by Tay Guan Hin, Regional ECD, Y&R and Bates 141 were the sponsors of the Portfolio Night this year. Click Photos (Corbis’ representatives in Singapore) and Pizza Hut were also sponsors on 26 May. Internationally, Corbis, Blurb and Creative Niche Inc are behind the event.
