TIBCO Software Inc. has launched Loyalty Lab Reward 12.3 software. This offers greater targeting control and real-time optimisation. This enables customers to receive personalised deals and increased rewards as well as detailed account information. Aberdeen Research’s “Next Generation Customer Loyalty” report, published in March 2011, says, “The instant gratification mentality of today’s consumer has made an impact on retailers as they are now addressing the issue of real-time rewards.”

Matt Howland, VP at TIBCO Loyalty Lab, said, “Consumers are savvier in-person and online buyers than ever before – just look at the competition between retailers this holiday season.” He went on to say that retailers needed to recognise customers instantly and quickly respond with customised offers.

The new software will assist retailers to get more flexibility and competitive differentiation amid heavy data and heavy competition.
