As a contribution to the celebration of SG50, Visual Asia Expo will partner with Professional Photographers Association (Singapore) (PPAS) to produce a 50 meter-wide photo wall. This wall will feature photographs from Singaporean photographers only, ranging from landscapes and architecture to people and culture.
Thomas Ang, Organiser and Director of the inaugural Visual Asia Expo 2015, announced the project jointly with Ryan Wong, President of PPAS. The SG50 Photo Wall will be unveiled in conjunction with the trade show’s opening at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre on 5 November 2015.
According to Sebastian Tan, Emeritus President of PPAS, who is also Group Managing Director of Shooting Gallery Asia, the wall will be a tribute to the forefathers of all Singaporeans and an inspiration to contemporary and future generations.
Visitors can expect a display of 50 high quality impressions of Singapore’s skylines and buildings, flora and fauna, fashion and arts, as well as famous personalities and ordinary folks through the eyes–and lens–of PPAS members.
Among the photographers contributing are Eric Seow, Jimmy Fok, Peter Chua, Ruth Soh, Sebastian Tan, Ryan Wong, Steve Nge, Alex Heng, Tan Meng Choon, Zhang Jingna, Jeremy Wong and Aaron Ang.
